Pink Elephant: Is Alcohol a Pain Panacea or a Problem?

This course will help practitioners better understand the impact of sex and gender differences in chronic pain with a focus on womenÕs health. We will explore the barriers and challenges unique to women living with chronic pain with regard to treatment, management, and access to care. In order to achieve health equity, racial and gender disparities must be overcome. This course will also discuss current policy and solutions to care .
