Bad Breadth: The Role of Bias, Stigma, and Social Determinants in Pain Care

This course will provide general knowledge that every general practitioner should know about neuromodulation. We will review the indications for spinal cord stimulation along with data showing how overall usage of opioids decreases after implantation. The mechanism of action and current theories on how these devices manage pain will be discussed in detail.
